Think of your website as organic, growing and evolving over time. 

As such, maintenance of your critical company asset into the future is a very important factor to consider.  At ONWEB we have set up many websites for customers and after the first rush of getting the website live there becomes a void of energy as the client becomes distracted by other pressing day to day matters.  If the developer has no continuing monetary interest in the website, no work will be done by anyone to keep it fresh.  Contract based websites then become useless because they are out of date within a short period of time.

A Monthly Maintenance Plan is superior because it will build a successful information rich website that will keep pace with your business.

For the purposes of clients large and small, ONWEB has determined that the Drupal Content Management System (CMS) is the best current choice to build your website on. Having done a few hundred client websites, many of the requirements become generic so we include them as part of our packages.  Drupal.org is an Open-Source Software Project that develops software modules for internet web servers. These modules are used in the development of every kind of website from small blogs, large community-based projects, and international corporations.  These software modules control key features to make your website search engine friendly, easy to navigate and edit for visitors and for authorized administrators.

Our intention with clients is to teach them how easy and flexible the Drupal Content Management System is!

Engineering websites since 1999, ONWEB has learned both large and small websites have a certain amount of design standardization.  For example, visitors will find a website easy to use if there is some form of navigation, either horizontal and/or vertical.  The list of features can go on, but our suggestion is to select a proven theme that is known to be SEO friendly and bug-free.  At various times throughout the life cycle of the site design modifications can be made to change the look/feel of your website.

The Basic WebMASTER Plan devotes a minimum 6 hours of budgeted time each month for ONWEB staff to spend on your website.  Please click through the WebMASTER Features to learn more about the skills we offer to make a better site.

After the two month trial, (barring unforeseen delays) your website will be live and providing a valuable source of information to the World Wide Web.  After two months we will tabulate the time spent and review the subscription.  If needed, the subscription can be adjusted based on the actual time invested vs. demands of the client.

If there is work requested that is outside of the budgeted time, it can be moved to the following month or approved and invoiced separately.
